Using the 3-Point Hitch
The 3-Point Hitch is used to attach implements to the back of the MK-V. The hydraulics in the 3-Point Hitch are controlled by the Hydraulic Joystick.

WARNING: Use the 3-Point Hitch only with equipment designed for 3-Point Hitch usage. To avoid injury, attach towed loads to the drawbar. Make sure to add proper counterbalance ballast on the front of the tractor when using the 3-Point Hitch. |
IMPORTANT: Do not exceed the following capacities when attaching an implement to the Monarch Tractor:
- 3-point hitch MAX lift: 1,650lbs (750 kg)
- Drawbar MAX tow: 5,500lbs (2,500 kg)
- Tongue MAX load: 1,100lbs (500 kg)
3-Point Hitch Controls
The hydraulics in the top link of the 3-Point Hitch are controlled with the Hydraulic Joystick. The auxiliary hydraulics on the back of the tractor are also controlled by the joystick.
The 3-Point Lever controls the lower links of the 3-Point Hitch.

To lower or lift lower links:
- Press the top button.
- Pull lever back.
To move the hitch to the upper or lower limit:
- Move the lever in the desired direction, up or down. The hitch is moved to the max position.
- Press the top button.
Connecting Implements to the 3-Point Hitch
Always attach the two lower arms, which are stationary, to the implement first. Then, adjust the top link and connect it.
To attach implements to the 3-point hitch:
- Back up the tractor as close to the implement connectors as you safely can.
- Adjust the height of the arms to match the implement.
- Connect the two lower stationary arms first.Insert a lynch pin in each lower link.
- Connect the top link after adjusting the arm’s length, then put a pin through the implement and the top link.
