LIVERMORE, Calif. – November 18, 2021 – Monarch Tractor, maker of the world’s first fully electric, driver-optional tractor, today announced that it has been named to Fast Company’s inaugural Next Big Things in Tech list, honoring the technology breakthroughs that promise to shape the future of their industries. Monarch Tractor is recognized in the Smart Machines category for “automating farms while preserving the environment.” “Monarch Tractor is leveraging technology to solve today’s most pressing farming challenges,” said Praveen Penmetsa, co-founder & CEO, Monarch Tractor. “We designed the tractor with input from farmers to create a multi-beneficial tool that will help them alleviate labor shortages, accelerate sustainable farming initiatives, and boost their bottom lines.
