Getting Started with Row Follow™

 

Row Follow™ takes control of the steering to keep the MK-V centered in the middle of the row, enabling you to focus on controlling the implement and your operation.  

Please Note: If the row has young vines with minimal or no foliage, Row Follow™ will not recognize the row. We are expanding the range of working conditions and will make them available in future software updates.  
 
For your best experience with Row Follow™, use it only in the conditions specified below.

Using Row Follow is easy:  

  1. As you enter a row: adjust the implement (Lower 3PT, Turn ON PTO, etc.) 

  2. Press the Row Follow™ button at the bottom left of the Smart Screen to activate Row Follow™.

  3. You can control the MK-V's speed and implement while the tractor stays centered in the row.

  4. When you get to the end of the row, toggle the steering wheel to take back control and end Row Follow™ or the MK-V will stop on its own to ensure safety. Avoiding the need for the MK-V to come to a full stop will keep your operation moving efficiently. 

  5. Adjust implement (Raise 3PT, Turn OFF PTO, etc.)

  6. Steer the MK-V to the next row.

  7. Repeat steps 1 to 6 for every row until you finish your operation. 

Collision Avoidance in Row Follow™:

  1. Collision Avoidance is always ON by default, and the tractor will automatically stop if it detects any obstacles.

  2. You can choose to turn Collision Avoidance OFF if there are too many stoppages based on your in-row conditions. Always use caution when operating the MK-V when Collision Avoidance is OFF. 

MK-V health issues: 

In the event of a tractor health issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Wait for 2 minutes or continue operating manually to see if the issue is resolved.

  2. The MK-V will auto-resume once an issue gets self-resolved.

  3. If the Row Follow™ button still does not appear, please reboot the tractor.

  4. If the health issue persists, please contact Monarch by filing a service ticket on the MK-V smart screen.

El Row Follow toma el control de la dirección para mantener el MK-V centrado en el centro de la hilera, permitiéndole enfocarse en controlar el implemento y su operación. 

Nota: Si la hilera tiene viñas jóvenes con poco o ningún follaje, Row Follow no reconocerá la hilera. Estamos ampliando la gama de condiciones de trabajo y las pondremos a su disposición en futuras actualizaciones del software. 

Para obtener la mejor experiencia con Row Follow, utilícelo sólo en las condiciones especificadas a continuación: 

Utilizar Row Follow es fácil: 

Al entrar en una fila: 

  1. Ajuste el implemento (Baje el 3PT, Encienda el PTO, etc.)

  2. Presione el botón del Row Follow que se encuentra en la parte inferior izquierda del Smart Screen (Pantalla Inteligente) para activar el Row Follow.

  3. Puede controlar la velocidad del MK-V y del implemento mientras el MK-V permanece centrado en la hilera.


    Cuando llegue al final de la hilera:

  1. Gire el volante para retomar el control y finalizar el seguimiento de hilera.

  2. Ajuste el implemento (levante el 3PT, apague el PTO, etc.)

  3. Dirija el tractor a la siguiente fila.

  4. Cuando llegue al final de la hilera, retome el control de la dirección o el MK-V se detendrá por sí solo para garantizar la seguridad.

  5. Es mejor evitar esperar a que el MK-V se detenga por completo ya que puede demorar su operación.

  6. Repita los pasos 1 a 5 para cada hilera hasta terminar la operación. 



Collision Avoidance (Prevención de Colisión) en Row Follow:

  1. Collision Avoidance (Prevención de Colisión) está siempre ACTIVADO por defecto, y el MK-V se detendrá automáticamente si detecta algún obstáculo. 

  2. Puede DESACTIVAR el Collision Avoidance (Prevención de Colisión) si se producen demasiadas paradas en función de las condiciones de la hilera. Tenga siempre cuidado cuando utilice el MK-V con la prevención de colisión DESACTIVADA

MK-V Problemas del Estado:

En caso de un problema de estado del MK-V, siga una de estas opciones:  

  1. Espere 2 minutos o continúe trabajando manualmente para ver si se resuelve el problema.

  2. El MK-V se reanudará automáticamente una vez que el problema se resuelva por sí solo.

  3. Si el botón Row Follow sigue sin aparecer, reinicie el tractor.

  4. Si el problema persiste, póngase en contacto con Monarch enviando un ticket de servicio en la Smart Screen.
